artists are paired with a prominent community member whom they interview, then use the material to create a portrait. the works will tour, eventually becoming a part of Issaquah's public work collection. my painting will portray Maureen McCrarry, an elected city council woman working to building a master plan that will provide maximum livability and community space for the diverse range of issaquah citizens.
